Beni learnt to fly from his dad when he was 18 and also started skydiving at the same time. Since age 20 Beni is working fulltime in the paragliding industry, first as an assistant instructor and then 10 years fulltime running the Chill Out school. Beni was one of the first to start speedflying in Switzerland and has discovered many of the today popular places. In 2008 Beni figured out to fly barrel rolls, this didn’t exist bevor. 2011 Beni was the first one to realize BASE XRW and shake hands with a wingsuit basejumper in flight. 2016 Beni also did the first succesfull groundloops. From 2011 to 2013 he did 300 wingsuit basejumps and ended his base career with a record flight of the Jungfrau from exactly 4 min freefall. Since 2008 Beni is also part of the Swing Speedflying Development Team and was involved in the development of the Spitfire 1 & 2 and Mirage 1 and Mirage RS.
Beni has also done many long XC flights across the big mountains and glaciers of the alps. He has flewn over at least half of all 4000+ meter summits of the alps and landed on some of them, including twice the Mont Blanc. In 2013 on the solo wing and in 2019 on the tandem. Beni has also launchend more then 40 times from a 4000m summit. He is a very relaxed instructor and likes to pass on his knowledge. 

I’m proof that you really can teach an old dog new tricks. I have a lot of experience in the mountains on skis and mountain bikes, but I’m a relative newcomer to the world of air sports. But from the moment I took my first paragliding flight 6 years ago, I’ve been in the air every chance I get. Switzerland is a paradise for flying, so speedriding and speedflying were a natural progression for me once I became confident on a normal paraglider. In the summer I’m a canyoning guide and instructor, and a tandem pilot.
