BGD Base 3 Review – Our opinion

The Base 3 is a very special glider. It has the most reflex of any B-wing on the market, the shortest Lineset of any High-B wings and the most taper (short chord in the tips and long in the middle). We are keen to fly it more and see if it holds the promises from BGD!

What we like

• No shooting on take off, also not in strong winds
• collapse stable on bar
• very agile and reactive
• fullbar collpses are very gentle
• Good performance
• High pitch stability

Good to know

• It’s full of the black perlon rods and needs to be packed nicely.
• Risers seem a little more complicated then needed
