BGD Diva 2 – Our opinion
The Diva 2 is a very special glider. It’s got super short lines, a lot of reflex and a super long speedbartravel. It also has more cells than a Zeno 2. BGD claims it has 5% better performance fullbar than a Zeno 2 and almost keeps up with an Enzo 3 in Fullbar. We compared it and it does have an advantage in Glide to a Zeno 2. Wow!
What we like
- No shooting on take off, also not in strong winds
- collapse stable on bar
- very agile and reactive
- Good performance
- High pitch stability
- Comfortable pressure on B handles
Good to know
- It’s full of the black perlon rods and needs to be packed nicely.
- The rods are very tensioned, in fact they are too long. So they are bent when you get your new Diva. Looks quite ugly!
- With the short lines, you have less dampening in Turbulence
- It’s clearly an EN-D to fly. Claims it’s as easy as an EN-C are bullshit.
- You need to be carefull not to spin it accidentally when turning close to the mountain!
- It’s cheaper then a Zeno 2 or a Peak 6
