Our opinion Ozone R3X

According to Ozone, the X is the light version of the R3. It’s got light risers and light fabric. Plus the lines are shorter, allowing for even quicker barrel rolls. In our experience you give away a bit of the dive in turns with shorter lines. Also the R3X is surely less durable, it won’t last as long and tear quicker as well. Plus it should be around 200 chf more expensive. Sounds kinda negative, but if Ozone releases it’s 5th speedwing in their range, it must have many benefits! We think for riding it’s gonna be amazing having a light wing and we are keen to try it!

We expect it to be a great allround wing, for those who want to do some speedriding but footlaunching as well. However it will he more difficult to ride than the ARC. We think specially with trims closed the R3X will also be easy to stall when riding slow, especially in the smaller sizes.
