Our Opinion – Skywalk Core
We tried a lot of string harnesses over the last few years. This one is our favorite for speedriding and speedkiting. For mountaineering it’s a little heavy and bulky. We think the core is the best ultralite harness on skis. It doesn’t squeeze you much down there and it’s easy to change position from sitting to standing up. Also kiting on skis with your wing on the side works great on it. Skwalk makes it only in one size, which might not be ideal for pilots smaller then 160 and taller then 190. It sure will fit them as well, but maybe they will prefer another one. Also important to know is you can’t adjust the leaning back, the straps under the armpits have a fixed length. We like it the way it is, but maybe some pilots prefer more upright or more layed back.
You can buy the inflatable airbag with it. You need to blew it up or use the bag that comes with it to fill it up with air before take off.
