Our Opinion – Ozone Swift 6
We tested the Swift 6 and we like it! It’is a interesting design, it’s got the A-lines the furthest back of all B-Wings we have seen. In theory this makes a wing very collapse stable. Is it as stable as a Mentor 7 light or an Ikuma? We don’t know yet, but we want to find out. The Swift 6 feels very light on the Bridge, which we really like a lot! We think it’s the 2nd lightest after the Mentor 7 light. And if the Mentor 7 light would have the B3 lines on the B-risers, it would actually be harder on the bridge than the Swift 6. (yes we modified it and tried it)
Fullspeed was very similiar to the Mentor 7 light and the Phi Maestro 2. Also the glide in calm air is pretty much the same.
Good to know
- The rods used are easy very light and help to keep weight down. But they require nice packing, otherwise they stay bent.
