Our opinion – Review

Swing released a new tuned version of the Mirage RS 2 in sizes 7, 8 and 9.5. They call it „team version) or Pro.

What’s different?

1. Trim travel +2cm
2. Even thinner lines
3. Color

We have flown the wing before and it is noticeably faster and a little steeper. Why? We don’t think the lines make much difference, but trimming your wing 2cm steeper surely does on the Mirage 2 RS. Originally it was planned to sell the Mirage 2 RS with those 2cm more trim travel. They decided not to due the collapse stability. We think it was a good decision, since the M2 is already more collapsy then the RS Plus. Fore sure the Team version is fast and fun, but this extra speed means reduced safety. Keep that in mind and use the last few cm of the trim travel wisely (in calm conditions).

Prices

The team version is 110.- more then the normal version which makes it more expensive then the R3.
