Our Opinion – Kortel Kliff 2

The Kliff 2 is a totally different harness then the Kliff 1. They don’t have much in common, apart from being light and small. The Kliff 2 comes in 4 sizes, which is amazing. Most brands make one size, sometimes 2. So the Kliff can fit from small girls to tall guys every pilot. It stands out with a very high back support and long leg support. you can adjust the leaning back and the shoulder straps easily, even during flight. What is absolut unique is the ability to use it hassle free without carabiners. There is a clever system for risers to attach without a need of an extra soft link or carabiner. And thats built on the harness and included in the weight.

We think the Kortel Kliff is THE BEST harness for mountaineering and ultralight hike and fly. It’s super comfortable, durable, light and packs up super small. It works for speedriding as well, but we prefer the Niviuk Roamer P or the Skywalk Core for this. The Kliff isn’t as ball-friendly and switching from riding to flying and back isn’t as easy as with the 2 others.

Good to know

• Crushes your balls a bit sometimes on take off or while ground-handling or speedriding
• You have to actively push back into the harness to get fully seated
